Chasteberry Formulations
Chasteberry extracts were relied upon to treat gynaecological and skin disorders for centuries.
Its use was popularised by the ancient greeks and medieval monks - which is why it is also referred to as Monk’s Pepper. In Turkey, it is often used as a digestive and anti-anxiety aid.
Today, Chasteberry is recommended as a dietary supplement to treat symptoms of premenstrual syndrome, breast pain, infertility and endometriosis, as it reduces levels of the hormone prolactin.
