Artemisia or Armoise comprises hardy herbaceous plants and shrubs, which are known for the powerful chemical constituents in their essential oils. The name "artemisia" is derived from the Greek goddess Artemisia.
Armoise shrubs have been used to treat gut worms and healing purposes in the past. Some evidence suggests its antispasmodic and pain killer.
