By following the steps below, you can experience the calming and uplifting fragrance of Somali Frankincense throughout your home with anatomē's Reed Diffuser. Enjoy the therapeutic benefits of this ancient resinous scent and create a welcoming atmosphere in your living space.

Prepare Your Diffuser: Unbox your Somali Frankincense Reed Diffuser from Anatome. Locate the glass bottle containing the fragrant diffuser oil and the set of reed sticks.
Insert the Reed Sticks: Remove the cap or stopper from the glass bottle of diffuser oil. Carefully insert the reed sticks into the bottle, allowing them to absorb the scented oil.
Arrange the Sticks: Arrange the reed sticks in the bottle, spacing them out for optimal diffusion. The more sticks you use, the stronger the scent will be.
Initial Diffusion: After about an hour, flip the reed sticks over to saturate the dry ends with the scented oil. This helps to kick-start the diffusion process.
Place in Desired Location: Position the reed diffuser in a suitable location within your home. Choose a spot with good air circulation, such as a shelf, side table, or counter.
Enjoy the Aroma: As the scented oil travels up the reed sticks, it will release the calming and aromatic fragrance of Somali Frankincense into the air. Enjoy the subtle and inviting scent that fills your living space.
Maintain the Diffuser: Periodically flip the reed sticks every few days to refresh the fragrance. Adjust the number of sticks used based on your preference for scent intensity.
Safety Precautions: Ensure the diffuser is placed on a stable surface to prevent spills. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid placing the diffuser directly on polished, painted, or wooden surfaces, as the oil may cause damage.

Have questions?

We have the answers

How do I use the Reed Diffuser?

Simply remove the stopper from the bottle and insert the reeds into the oil. The reeds will absorb the fragrance, diffusing it into the air. Flip the reeds occasionally to refresh the scent.

How long will the Reed Diffuser last?

The diffuser will typically last for several weeks, depending on the surrounding temperature, humidity, and air circulation. For optimal longevity, place the diffuser in a smaller or enclosed space.

Is the Reed Diffuser safe to use around pets and children?

While our diffusers are generally safe, we recommend placing them in areas that are out of reach of pets and children to prevent accidental ingestion or spillage.

How often should I replace the reeds?

We recommend replacing the reeds every 4-6 weeks to ensure optimal fragrance diffusion. Over time, reeds may become saturated and less effective at dispersing the scent.

Can I mix different scents by using the same reeds?

We recommend using separate reeds for each fragrance to maintain the purity of the scent. Mixing different oils on the same reeds may result in a blended or altered fragrance profile.

Is the Reed Diffuser environmentally friendly?

Yes, our diffusers are made with recyclable materials and are designed to minimise environmental impact. The diffuser oil is also formulated with natural ingredients and essential oils.
