Calendula

Made from the marigold flower, Calendula oil is renowned for its benefits to the skin. Calendula oil’s skin benefits stem from its antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antibacterial properties, making it valuable in treating acne, eczema, dermatitis, and rashes. Calendula oil is also used in the beauty industry as it boosts skin hydration and firmness.

At anatomē, we use calendula oil in a number of our skin products, taking advantage of its excellent hydration and skin-health benefits.

Calendula is a key ingredient in our bath salt products, thanks to its distinctive and soothing aroma, and its ability to not only nourish the skin, but also to calm, soothe and relax the body and mind.  Our Muscle Ease + Skin Restoring Bath Salts include calendula petals, which lift the mood and add a touch of luxury to a relaxing, tranquil bath.

Calendula oil is also used in our Nourishing Hand + Body Moisturiser. Thanks to its excellent skin-firming and hydrating properties, calendula oil works alongside other carefully selected botanicals to hydrate and beautify the skin and hands.
