Labdanum oil is extracted from a sticky brown resin, taken from a plant that grows (often in very inhospitable, dry locations) in the Mediterranean, North Africa and the Middle East. In natural medicine, labdanum is used to cure wounds, to heal colds and flu as an expectorant and to support immune health.
