Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin that helps to support healthy skin and eyes. It’s also an antioxidant vitamin that helps to support a strong, healthy immune system by defending us against damaging free radicals that can be introduced into the body by breathing in pollution and environmental pollutants or by eating processed, fried, fatty, sugary and salty foods.
Good natural sources of vitamin E include nuts, seeds, avocados, vegetable oils including olive oil and cereals made using the whole wheatgerm.
Although it won’t cause any harm if you do eat these healthy vitamin E rich foods on a daily basis, the body stores excess vitamin E in it’s fat reserves so it’s not essential to eat them every day.
