As lockdown restrictions begin to lift and brick and mortar stores prepare to thrive again, we’re happy to share that we’re opening a new location in Islington Square!
Islington is an old, historic borough in central London that has long been home to markets and stores as well as residential areas and eateries. Some of our new neighbours include amazing shops like Borough Kitchen, Third Space, Arlo & Jacob and Treat Beauty.
In addition to our new Islington location, we are also excited to celebrate the opening of our counter at Liberty London Beauty Hall on Great Marlborough Street. From April 12th, you'll be able to find all our favourite products in-store as well as online.
From April 15th, our doors will be open to Islington residents and visitors. Located just off Upper Street, Islington Square is the perfect location for our new shop and is, in many ways, a new destination to support family and loved ones. At anatomé, we have a focus on investing and supporting the health of local, London neighbourhoods. We know how important it truly is to connect with our London communities, especially in light of the pandemic. If you feel like your health, mental or physical, has been compromised over the past year, trust us – you’re not alone. We’re here to support you and continue to grow our London reach to meet your needs.
The Islington store’s design will stay true to our style, featuring a transparent, glass exterior that mimics our products’ packaging. Sustainability is always crucial to our brand, and we take great care to use recyclable and timeless glass bottles and jars, paper labelling and paper ‘refill’ packaging.
Our modern shops have taken their inspiration from antique apothecaries of old. Our new Islington store features a unique counter beautifully decorated with botanical prints by Elizabeth Blackwell, the Scottish botanical illustrator. The new anatomé kiosk will stock the latest in wellbeing and home publications. Teas will be served in-store, and customers will be invited in for bespoke sleep oils and wellbeing appointments with expert nutritionists on hand to provide wellness advice and support.
