My Daily Ritual - Small self-care moments can make all the difference in our busy lives, and in the morning, when getting ready for work, just before I start my morning skincare routine, I use a few drops of Balance + Stability on my wrists and shoulders. Just a few seconds of inhaling the scent and being aware of your breathing has an incredible grounding effect and is shown to reduce cortisol levels too!

To take time out for myself, I go for a run along the seafront a few times a week near 8am when it’s quiet. Running and breathing in the sea air clears my brain and gets me ready for the day.
Every evening, I take an hour or two, to just read. I'll sit by the fire and lose myself in a book, mostly fiction, I'm currently reading 'Where the Crawdads Sing' by Delia Owens. It makes me forget any anxieties and takes me out of the day.
I make sure that I drink at least 2L of water every day. As a part of my daily self-care, I'll use essential oils and take deep breaths throughout the day to calm and reset myself.

My ultimate self-care tip is to go on a 5k walk every day on Hampstead Heath to make sure I get time away for an hour from my computer. When I'm finished for the day have a bath with a few drops of Somali Frankincense Recovery + Sleep oil alongside a few drops of my favourite honey and lavender bath oil from my local farmer's market (it smells so good!).
I also like to try and fit in a virtual sound + gong bath with my amazing teacher Rachael Welford from She's Lost Control in Hackney or a yin class with my favourite teacher Charlie Merton. To prepare for sleep I take an ashwagandha and magnesium supplement + a few drops of CBD oil and read for an hour before bedtime to switch off and wind down. I'm currently reading 'The Nightingale' by Kristin Hannah. It's wonderful!

Self-love is all about putting yourself at the top of your to-do list every single day and taking care of your mind, body and soul. I begin each day by listing 5 things that I am grateful for and doing a 15 minute meditation to start my day on a positive note and mindset.
On the days that I have a little more me-time, I love to pamper myself with my charcoal face mask followed by a lovely warm bubble bath. This really helps me relax and declutter my mind & thoughts. Simple things like listening to my favourite playlist, burning a candle and going for a walk in the fresh air make me happy. Where there is self-love, there is endless happiness.

My self care ritual is usually a glass of wine while catching up with friends on zoom or having a good old fashioned sunday night bubble bath (with anatomē bath salts, of course)!

My selfcare routine includes a slow morning followed by a mindful running sesh at Victoria Park, which I don't do without my Energy + Strength oil, where I can observe the locals and the local ecosystem. I finish my run with a freshly brewed Brazilian coffee and delicious eggs on toast at Broadway Market (in normal times!).

My favourite ways to practice self-care are to write down lists of things to do when I'm feeling stressed or restless and I always make sure to exercise or do something to get moving every day. Trying lots of different live fitness classes and walks to new local places has a great way to do so during lockdown.

Make your own rituals! I love doing skincare twice a day and putting on makeup. It's so fun to look like the best version of yourself even when you have nowhere to go! Put on a face mask or a full face of makeup and catch a vibe with yourself.

My favourite way to take care of myself is to cook! It takes me out of my head and allows me to connect with my creativity in a tangible way. There's also something really special about making something to nourish yourself.
My morning routine is my favourite part of the day. I'll make coffee and drink it in bed with a good book (or a tv episode if I'm feeling lazy), currently reading Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, then do an energising Vinyasa yoga practice, before making a healthy breakfast and getting ready for the day. It helps to give me energy and to calm my mind before work starts.
