Vitamin E and avocado oil for skin health

Persea Americana is a tree likely originating from south-central Mexico, a member of the flowering plant family Lauraceae. In fact, botanically avocado is a large berry containing a single large seed.

It''s nutrient dense, benefiting overall health but specifically skin. It contains Vitamins B, C, K, A and E necessary for a healthy, nourished and supple skin.

Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin that helps to support healthy skin and eyes, helping to reduce premature ageing and keep the skin feeling nurtured. t’s also an antioxidant vitamin that helps to support a strong, healthy immune system by defending us against damaging free radicals that can be introduced into the body by breathing in pollution and environmental pollutants or by eating processed, fried, fatty, sugary and salty foods.

In addition to avocados, good natural sources of vitamin E include nuts, seeds, vegetable oils including olive oil and cereals made using the whole wheatgerm.
